Impact-Driven Volunteering and Internships
Projects Abroad is the ideal option for anyone looking to join a meaningful trip that leaves a genuine impact. They produce annual Global Impact Reports, which keep track of the impact their trips are having on communities.
This organization also provides trips for people of all backgrounds and skill levels. Their Project Experts will match you with the right placement, ensuring your skills are utilized effectively. Through cultural immersion, you, too, will be positively impacted.
Broaden your horizons, gain new skills, forge connections, and achieve your goals with a volunteer trip abroad.
Removing the Hassle
A key goal of Projects Abroad is to ensure you have a hassle-free experience. Beyond preparing your accommodation and work placement, they provide your meals, ground transport, 24/7 staff support, excursions, and much more. They take care of all the details so you can focus on having the best experience possible.
You also don’t need qualifications to sign up for most of the programs offered through this organization. Their in-country staff will support and guide you so that you can learn, share skills, and make a positive impact in your host community.
Programs run year-round, many with flexible start and end dates. Travel on your own schedule or join a pre-organized set itinerary with a group of peers.
Outside of their Flexi Trips, Projects Abroad offers tailor-made trips for high school students, adults over 50, and other groups.
Spectacular Safety & Support
Since its founding, Projects Abroad has been committed to providing the gold standard of safety and support. Every staff member is thoroughly vetted and trained to the highest standards. A specialist team member will be on-hand to offer support from the moment you first make contact to project completion.
In-destination staff are local to the community and are, therefore, best placed to help volunteers and interns make the most of their time. They provide a full induction, safety briefing, and cultural awareness course to help you stay safe and have an enjoyable experience. And if you ever need anything, they’re on hand 24/7 to provide advice and support.

Projects Abroad took care of everything. From the zoom meeting with cello volunteers prior to departure to being collected at the airport, we had a representative at our beck and call at all times. We thoroughly enjoyed our work in the school. The first week we painted a few classrooms but after that we got to play with the children and help them with English, sports, hygiene and environment education. No words can describe how beautiful the children are and they nor their teachers could not have made us more welcome.

I loved every moment of my volunteering project. Project Abroad staff is really professional and careful. My experience in kindergarten was wonderful; children were so cute and teachers are very friendly. I suggest this experience to everyone, young and just a little older like me (I’m 55 years old and this is my first volunteering experience). Thanks Project Abroad… I’ll come back again.
