Overview
Students Offering Support is a charitable social venture with Chapters at post-secondary schools across North America. University SOS Chapters raise money to raise roofs through raising marks during our ‘Exam-AID’ group review sessions. These ‘Exam-AID’ sessions are taught and coordinated by senior student volunteers to help first year university students prepare for their upcoming exams. Money raised is invested in community development projects through our partner organizations. SOS volunteers embark on Outreach Trips to contribute towards the construction of sustainable education projects throughout Latin America. Since 2005, over 4,000 SOS volunteers have tutored over 25,000 students and raised more than $1,400,000 for projects in rural communities across Latin America.
