Write a reviewI had an overall positive experience of TEFL Trainer. The set up of the course was really good, offering a blend of online training, essay writing and plenty of practical teaching time.
The school set up was slightly basic, following a set routine and structured lesson style, but as a first time teacher-this made it easier and less daunting.
The staff and students were all really friendly and I loved being in a new country and culture.
I would recommend this to anyone considering doing a TEFL but would like the experience of living abroad and teaching alongside the course.

TEFL Trainer has been a rewarding experience for me. I have definitely gained new knowledge and experience.
COURSE CONTEXT: The online course provides useful insights for teachers starting now their careers. The course also provides you with useful tips and information that you can take with you when starting to look for a teaching job. Grammar analysis and how to teach it has been also very comprehensive.
PRACTICE TEACHING: This is the main reason that I have chosen to become certified with TEFL Trainer. Most of the TEFL Companies do not provide practice and if they do it is in a very short period of time or you need to pay an exorbitant amount of money. Even though my TEFL Practice could be better, in terms of communication, organisation and constructive feedback with the management team, I am glad I had the opportunity to teach one-to-one and gain this experience in the language school.
QUALITY OF FEEDBACK - INSTRUCTOR COMPETENCY: My regular communication with Julia (my online tutor) has been efficient and constructive. Julia would always reply to my questions immediately. She has been very helpful throughout the nine-month membership as well as the internship. I had the opportunity to meet Julia personally and she is a very pleasant personality, professional and engaging. On the other hand, as I mentioned above, at the language school, I felt that communication and feedback could be better as I never really got any constructive feedback to realise how I could improve.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE: Excellent. I would definitely recommend the course and practice to anyone that would like to become TEFL Certified.

As a year abroad student this was overall a good experience. I enjoyed the invaluable opportunity to teach English to adults, and everyone at the academy was helpful and friendly.
Although the pay isn't great (as it is a traineeship, after all), the opportunity to achieve the TEFL certification alongside the teaching placement makes it worth it. These courses typically cost hundreds of pounds/euros, so to be paid to complete it (if you apply with the discount for Erasmus students) is incredible!!
I recommend that you ensure you can afford to supplement your income with your savings or your student loans/Erasmus grants for example. (I am basing this off of my experience in Madrid, where rent is expensive!)

I am very happy with this experience and the opportunity that TEFL Trainer Spain gave me. As an Applied Languages student myself, this internship was perfectly related to my degree and my learning. Not only did I gain first hand experience in teaching, but the company also gave me the opportunity to obtain the TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification, after completing the internship between the agreed dates, delivering 6 written assignments (400 words each) and passing 6 theoretical exams online.
I really enjoyed the programme and I am very happy to have chosen it. Teaching students truly gave me a lot of satisfaction; in addition, it benefited me immensely since it has helped me gain experience in teaching but it also allowed me to become very confident, not only on a professional level but also on the personal one.

TEFLCourse is a very big opportunity to enter the teaching world. Julia, the TEFL Trainer, is extremely helpful and available both during and after the course. The online course is very useful to review fundamental notions of teaching practice. TEFL Course also gives you the possibility to attend a traineehsip and live a wonderful experience abroad. In general, I am very satisfied with it and I will reccomend to anyone who is interesting in teaching English. Thank you Julia for this amazing opportunity

The one-month TEFL course with TEFL Trainer is perfect for those who would like to gain the TEFL certification in a short space of time.
The online course is straightforward and can be completed at a pace that suits you. The theory is explained clearly and can be easily understood.
I also thoroughly enjoyed my time at the language school in Madrid; I received constructive feedback and left the language school with a new set of skills that I will carry for life.
