The School of St Jude was founded by an Australian woman in 2002. It is a charity funded school that provides a free, high-quality education to over 1,800 of the poorest, academically able children in Tanzania.

Every week there is a school assembly where students receive awards for outstanding behaviour and achievements and various classes provide entertainment (singing, dancing, etc.).
