World Computer Exchange

WCE depends on our eCorps tech volunteers to travel in small teams for two weeks to provide onsite tech training, orientation and trouble-shooting in 77 developing countries to which we provide our refurbished computers loaded with educational content. We also depend on eCorps volunteer “Travelers” to represent us in meetings with interested groups in these countries and to evaluate the status, use and impact of the computers we have shipped to local schools. We also seek volunteers to help us identify local computer recyclers that are beginning to operate in these countries.

In the USA &Canada our volunteers refurbish computers, develop content, help build the capacity of our 800 Partner organizations, and raise money to cover part of the costs of our container shipments. Join us!
