Overview

Overview

Youth International is an experiential learning program that combines rugged international travel, inter-cultural exchange, home stays with local families, volunteer community service work, and outdoor adventure. Teams of up to 14 people between the ages of 18 and 25 travel together with two group leaders. For a full 3-month semester, they explore three countries in one region of the world. Youth International offers three programs: Asia, South America, and Africa. Programs begin in September and February. On average, 30% of a participant’s time in the program will be spent volunteering on projects such as: helping to build or renovate schools, homes, and orphanages, teaching, doing conservation work, and caring for the sick and disabled.
