How It All Started

GoEco was created by two friends, Jonathan Gilben and Jonathan Tal, who loved traveling and wanted to make a difference. After visiting Southeast Asia and learning more about the challenges faced by local communities and wildlife, they came up with the idea of GoEco. They started with a sea turtle project and have grown to offer a wide variety of volunteer opportunities all over the world.
